1. Introduction
Padel Score ("the App") is a padel match scoring application available on iOS, Apple Watch, and Garmin Connect IQ, developed by Maiko Kuipers. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use the App across all platforms.
2. Data We Collect
The App collects and processes the following data:
- Account information: When you sign in, we collect your name and email address from your authentication provider (Google or Apple Sign-In).
- Match scoring data: Points, games, sets, and match results that you input during padel matches.
- Authentication tokens: Encrypted authentication credentials are stored locally on your devices (phone and watch) to enable cloud synchronization. These tokens are not shared with third parties.
- Device information: Basic device identifiers used to establish connections between the Padel Score mobile app and your watch devices.
3. Data We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect location or GPS data.
- We do not collect health or fitness sensor data (heart rate, steps, etc.).
- We do not use any analytics, tracking, or advertising services.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties.
4. How We Use Your Data
- Account information is used to identify you within the app and allow you to find and connect with friends.
- Match scores are synchronized to our backend so you can view match history and share live scores with friends and spectators.
- Authentication tokens are used solely to securely communicate with our backend services on your behalf.
5. Data Storage and Security
- Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which runs on cloud infrastructure provided by AWS.
- All data transmission occurs over HTTPS.
- Authentication tokens are stored locally on your devices using platform-specific secure storage.
- We implement Row Level Security (RLS) policies to ensure users can only access their own data.
6. Data Sharing
- Match scores may be visible to other Padel Score users if you share a match link or share code.
- Your profile (name) may be visible to other users when they search for friends within the app.
- No data is shared with third-party services beyond the infrastructure providers described above.
7. Your Rights
You can:
- View and manage your match history through the mobile app.
- Disconnect your watch devices at any time through the Profile settings.
- Delete your account and all associated data through the Profile section in the mobile app.
- Request a copy of your data or request deletion by contacting us at the email below.
- Uninstall the App from any device to remove all locally stored data.
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
